Hello, I'm Zach Scott, a digital content producer at WBBH in Fort Myers, Florida. My journey in sports and media has taken me from the broadcasting booths of Florida Gulf Coast University and Florida Southwestern CC to the exciting world of play-by-play broadcasting for the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels. Originally hailing from Dayton, Ohio - I honed my skills as both a student-athlete and a state champion in baseball at Chaminade Julienne Catholic in 2018.

 

Sports flow through my veins - fueling my passion and commitment. I'm driven by the aspiration to become a well-known sports reporter, ensuring athletes get the coverage they deserve. Beyond reporting, I dream of making a tangible impact  by launching a non-profit dedicated to providing new sports equipment to children in underserved communities, igniting their passion for sports and teamwork. Through this I hope to foster a sense of community, support, and opportunity.

Equally Important to me is mental health awareness, bullying prevention, and suicide awareness. As an advocate, I believe that we can create a space of understanding and support for those in need through the wonderful world of sports.
